Christopher Hitchens, author of God is Not Great, says that God didn’t make foliage green to be easy on the eyes, as his teacher when he was nine years old held, as opposed to orange or purple; but that the eyes followed nature, which I think means that our eyes adapted to the colors around us, and green is near the middle of the spectrum where it would be a good background color and not stand out. I thought this was an interesting question with which he began the book. But I disagree with Hitchens; God is great.
Next thing I’ll be discussing why the sky is blue. My dear sister Chrissy had a birthday, and we had a cookout. Lots of fun. Hello, Texans! Talk to everyone soon.
