I made homemade fresh beets, boiling them for 45 minutes and then running cold water over them and peeling them, slicing them and serving them to myself with margarine. I also cleaned the bathroom and vacuumed our living room. The noise was loud and I was moved to say “Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaahh” on a note that complemented the vacuum cleaner sound.

I played the Bach and Beethoven at metronome 72. I find myself missing a romantic piece, so we’ll probably settle on one this week. The power outage at the college cancelled my lesson on Thursday. I now have Suzuki Piano Book 5 which completes my set of 1-7 Suzuki. Louis-Claude Daquin’s The Cuckoo is in Book 5.
