For Songwriting class, I wrote this jingle/song about Amazon:

You are amazing Amazon
You can get anything you want
Boxed up on your porch in days
Amazon you do amaze

Morning noon or late at night
You’ll find a shirt that looks just right
And place your order on your phone
It’s easier than dog eats bone.

When it’s almost time to go
On vacation don’t you know
Amazon has got your towels
You’ll be on the beach in style

When it’s time to go to school
You won’t arrive there like a fool
Without your books and notes and pens
You’ll get them all at Amazon.

When the holidays are near
The shopping mall you need not fear
Just get on your phone and shop
Your gifts will never ever flop

Amazon you are amazing
I’ll just do a little grazing
Save for later things I like
I know I’ll get them by and by

Amazon helps the little guy
Stay in business and not die
On Amazon they sell their wares
You can find some stuff that’s rare

You used to have to shop for hours
To find your size and style you’d scour
Now you just type and scroll and ciick
Amazon will do the trick.

Get some dishes, pots and pans
Guitars, pianos, ceiling fans
The Prime specials are the best
But any day you’ll have success.

When it’s time for Mother’s Day,
Or when it’s your dear kid’s birthday
You can always get your gift
On Amazon, they’re really swift!

Amazon began with books
Now it’s an everything nook
Don’t forget you’re literate
Book or CD? I’ll consider it.

And you’ll never spend too much
Because they calculate your cost
You can spend to your last cent
And it’s money that’s well spent

Amazon has pretty clothes
And you won’t pay through the nose
Returns are easy and you’ll find
Their clothes will make you really shine.

When you’re hungry, they’ve got food
Whether you’re a girl or you’re a dude
They have the clothes you really want
You are amazing, Amazon

Dawn, afternoon or dead of night
You’re bound to find something that’s right
Order it up and you’ll be glad
Best megastore we ever had.

Save for later, move to cart
Shopping is a fine art
Just get the things you really need
And don’t forget a book to read

Don’t have to find a parking space
Or wear a mask upon your face
Just stay right in your living room
Just like a baby in the womb

Holidays and Christmas morn
Celebrate that you were born

Big box stores may be okay
